Facebook timeline for brands - what does it mean for social media marketers?
The time has come, my sweets, whether you’re ready or not. Today, Facebook is switching all brand pages over to the timeline format.

I think one of the most prominent changes is the ability for Facebook users to send private messages to brands that they can then answer directly. This provides an outlet for consumers to raise an issue directly to the brand and receive one-on-one response without interaction or prying from other Facebook fans.
